Exploring the interplay between fashion and nature, two realms perceived as opposites, reveals a complex relationship that is contrasting and interconnected. This black and white photo series explores that dynamic by intentionally stripping away color, encouraging the viewer to focus instead on the essential elements of form, contrast, and texture. In doing so, the work draws attention to the harmony and tension that exist between the structured elegance of fashion and the organic fluid state of the natural world. Both fashion and nature share the ability to communicate identity and a powerful sense of presence, and this series seeks to reveal those shared qualities.
